Privacy Policy

How we handle the information you share with us, in plain English.

Last updated: 13 July 2026.

Who we are

AKO AI is operated by Zone Six Services Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions, contact us at [email protected].

What we collect

When you use the free admin audit or contact us, we collect only what you give us:

  • Your email address
  • A description of your business and how your week runs
  • The admin tasks, tools and free-text answers you provide in the audit
  • Any details you include when you email or contact us

We do not ask for special category data (such as health or financial records) in the audit, and you should not include it. Our web server also records standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your information to prepare and send your admin audit, to respond to your enquiry, and to talk to you about AKO if you have asked us to. Our lawful basis is your consent when you submit the audit, and our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

Who processes it

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site and prepare your audit, including hosting and a third-party AI provider that generates your audit report from the answers you give. These providers act on our instructions under contract. Some providers may process data outside the UK or EEA; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your data, and your data is not used to train public AI models.

How long we keep it

We keep audit submissions and enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to provide the audit and follow up with you, and no longer than 24 months, after which we delete or anonymise it — unless you become a customer, in which case your data is governed by your service agreement.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and fonts

This site uses only what is needed to function. We load a web font from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google's servers. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
